Before I begin, let me humble and hold myself accountable. There is a lot of personal growth and work that I still need to accomplish to solidify myself as an successful content creator:

What I listed above are a few of the things I'm currently working on to improve about myself and my business everyday. Some things I'm really good at, and some things I need to continue to learn. One of the things I believe I'm great at is being resourceful and doing research on myself and the industry I claim I am apart of.
When previously researching myself I discovered that I had a knowledge panel on Bing (Microsoft's search engine) as my renowned identity "LadyKaylee". I couldn't believe it! I somehow managed to be on the radar on one of the worlds largest search engines. After obtaining this information and claiming my panel I started to gain more confidence as a entrepreneur and content creator. I no longer just wanted to be a person that goes live to play video games without a purpose, I really wanted to do a deep dive into what I'm truly capable of.

Bing pages is a beta program that lets users manage their social presence on Microsoft products such as Bing and Outlook.com. If you apply and are accepted, you will get your own page on Bing. In addition, you get to update your information and social media presence.
Another cool feature they have is free promotion of your social media content on Bing. This is HUGE because there is a potential to reach a larger audience through the search engine.
Its not an easy feat to establish yourself as an influencer on a major platform. I'm honestly just humbled that I even have a knowledge panel! If you would like to check out my public Bing page you can view it here
When this happened, my mind wandered and a lot of things I took less seriously I started to visualize and understand more. I learn best by experiencing things okay, so yeah it took me a minute to embrace it. At heart I have always been an entrepreneur but I admit as a gamer I did not apply the idea that creating content was a business too.
What finally Clicked?
You'd think that somebody who majored in marketing and management would apply their knowledge to their own business endeavors. Apparently not I, at least not in the beginning. My personal battles have been with fear, confidence, and doubt. With those three things combined, even with the knowledge and skill sets I have, I just was never happy with the results I produced as a business woman and content creator. I had so many projects I started but did not finish, its ridiculous. I needed to work on myself because I got in my own way. I did not plan, reflect and improve on the goals I wanted for myself enough and it showed through my work.
After consistently praying, practicing affirmations and meditating, my mind really started to open up. Things that use to bother or upset did not effect as much and almost all the worries and fears I had started to diminish. I took my life back and it open more doors for me to reinvent myself. I got a job, was happy, and just started viewing life differently.
Changing the Game
Changing the game is just an expression I'm using but what I really mean is I had to change my perspective and try a different approach. Its not that what I was previously doing wasn't working, I just wasn't happy. Like damn, I was miserable with how my previous brand was progressing. I was complaining and whining more than I was producing because things were not moving the way I wanted. One of my issues was my name carried a lot weight and trauma. So the only way I would be able to move forward was to let God deal with it and let go. This is what pushed me to rebrand. I never considered it before because as a content creators I opened myself up to so many fears and worries. I knew it would cost my momentum (following, sponsorships, perks and revenue) with all the hard work that was put in under my renowned name (LadyKaylee), but I needed to change the game.
No literally! At times some creators feel the pressure to play new title releases or stay within a particular community just to be relevant or to maintain their channel growth. I was one of those creators but mentally it affected me and really took the fun out of the reason I wanted to create content in the first place.
Moving Forward
Now don't freak out! You can still call me Kaylee because its true to my real name and very much the nickname all my friends and family address me by. Heck you can even continue to address me by LadyKaylee if you like, all I just ask is that you approach me with your genuine and trustworthy vibe if you do.
