While attending this event I gained so much education, inspiration and entertainment in this unique event hosted by two internationally beauty bloggers/vloggers Rachel O Beauty and Ms Vaughn TV. These ladies gave beauty tips and secrets on everything from hair care, skin care, make up and fashion. Another special guest beauty blogger Jaz Jackson was also at the event giving tips on how to get the natural look for hair extensions.
The night continued with panel discussions and blasting social media with the chance to win raffle prizes. There was also a fashion show, music, complimentary goodie bags and an amazing assortment of snacks (VIP).
The beauty bloggers emphasized that "There are many things that have divided Brown women for far too long. On this evening we celebrate and empower one another."
The main topics that intrigued me the most were the proper ways to care for natural hair. Other topics I enjoyed were also around the areas of transitioning, protective hairstyles, and beauty tips.
During the event, I had the opportunity to personally network and speak with Ms. Vaughn who has over 100,000 subscribers and 4 million views on her YouTube Channel MsVaughnTV. Her channel is dedicated to Natural Hair, Beauty and Fashion! She is such an outspoken and inspirational women.
I gained so much insight while attending this event. Overall, it was a great treat to myself and a pleasing experience.
